What you're going to do
As an Embedded Software Engineer you will work in a multidisciplinary team in which you collaborate with other software engineers, but also with mechanical engineers, electronics engineers and industrial designers. The work varies from specifying, designing, implementing to commissioning and qualifying embedded systems (C/C++) for innovative products. From prototypes to market-ready end products.
Your substantive knowledge and experience enables you to have a lot of input in the design and development phase. You will work on PCBs, operating systems and innovative end products, among other things. In addition to development, you also have to deal with testing and validation. So in addition to coding, you can also test and improve your own code hands-on on the electronics.
We believe in our integrated approach in which we devise practical solutions for complex issues for our customers. From idea to production and you can play a role in all those phases. You have a hands-on mentality and are practical. At SST Hardware we work on products, systems and solutions that lie at the intersection of hardware, software, mechanics and design. This can range from consumer products to industrial machines or even medical applications.
What we look for in you:
- A completed HBO or WO course in embedded systems, technical computer science or electrical engineering.
- Relevant personal experience within this field.
- A proactive and independent attitude.
- A flexible attitude.
- Good command of the Dutch and English language.
- Ideally living in the Enschede area.
